After Twitter launch its paid verification plan, now Meta, the parent company of social media giants Facebook and Instagram, announced that they are also rolls out their paid subscription services for Facebook & Instagram “Blue Tick verification”. Now Meta looks to diversify its revenue streams beyond advertising. Meta is looking to provide a more personalized and curated experience for users, while also generating additional revenue beyond advertising. According to Meta their paid subscription services are in testing phase and likely to be rolled out this week in Australia & New Zealand and spread to other countries very soon.
