Reliance Jio has recently launched two new Jio plus postpaid plans for individual & family which allow users to add up to three family members for Rs 99 each.

Jio Plus Postpaid Plans-
Jio, one of India’s leading telecommunications companies, has recently introduced two new postpaid plans – Jio Plus Rs 399 and Jio Plus Rs 699. The Jio Plus Rs 399 plan allows users to add up to three family members at a cost of Rs 99 each, totaling Rs 696 for a family of four. It provides users with unlimited calling, unlimited SMS, and 75GB of data, among other features. Notably, Jio already had a postpaid plan for Rs 399, but with different benefits.
For those seeking a more premium experience, the Jio Plus Rs 699 plan offers additional OTT benefits on top of the features provided by the Rs 399 plan. Both plans offer flexibility and customization for users, allowing them to choose a plan that best suits their needs.
New Jio Plus Rs 399 Postpaid plan-
Jio already had a Rs 399 postpaid plan, but the new one is designed to cater to families. This new plan, priced at Rs 399, allows users to add up to three family members for just Rs 99 each after the free trial period. With this family plan, a family of four can enjoy unlimited calling and SMS benefits, with the primary SIM holder receiving 75GB of data, and each add-on SIM receiving 5GB of data every month. The total cost for a family of four comes to Rs 696 per month. The Jio Plus Postpaid plan is an exciting development for families looking for a comprehensive and cost-effective mobile phone plan.
Old Jio Rs 399 Postpaid plan
The Jio Plus Rs 399 postpaid plan, which was previously available, does not offer the same level of family connectivity as the new Jio Plus Postpaid plan. This older plan provides users with unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day, along with 75GB of data. However, any additional data used beyond the 75GB limit incurs a charge of Rs 10 per GB. One noteworthy aspect of this plan is that it includes complimentary subscriptions to both Netflix Mobile and Amazon Prime, providing users with access to a wide range of streaming content.
While this plan may be suitable for individual users, it does not provide the same level of flexibility and cost-effectiveness as the new family oriented Jio Plus Postpaid plan.

Additional details-
For new subscribers, the company charges a nominal fee of Rs 99 for SIM activation. In addition, the Rs 399 and Rs 699 Jio plus postpaid plans require security deposits of Rs 500 and Rs 875, respectively. However, Jio has a policy of waiving off the security deposit for customers who meet certain criteria. If you are a Jio Fiber user, a corporate employee, an existing non-Jio postpaid user, a credit card customer, or have a good credit score, you are eligible for a waiver on the security deposit.
